Zagat Review: The food is the best for miles around this solid, upscale choice with its always well-executed seasonal New American cuisine to please serious foodies, not to mention its sleek, open and bustling space that's a little hard-edged and minimalist in a soho kind of way.
Lark
926 12th Avenue, Seattle; (206)-323-5275
From Organic Style: "Small plates with lively preparations-of Dungeness crab, duck confit, and pea vines and asparagus-are the focus at Lark, a popular new bistro in Seattle's trendy Capitol Hill. Chef John Sundstrom, formerly of Dahlia Lounge and Earth & Ocean, and his wife, J.M., have created a romantic, rustic setting for northern European-inspired dishes that are meant to be shared with friends. Artisanal and sustainable are the bywords here."

Skip most of the designer drinks with one notable exception: a generous pour of the Rose's own Crazy Cosmo, made with Sauza Tres Generaciones Anejo Tequila, triple sec, cranberry and lime juice. The bar menu is also above average, with lip-smacking house potatoes and thick, tasty bean and cheese quesadillas."

Dani Weiss Photography
Over the course of 16 years as a professional photographer, the challenge has lured Dani far and wide. Travel and journalistic assignments have honed her photographer's eye and her ability to see and to act when she is close to human emotion. Political protests, drag-queen performances, raucous concerts, and multi-cultural events have brought her closer to raw subject matter. She brings these rich experiences to traditional wedding and portrait photography as she pushes limits and use instinctive shooting methods to capture events and people.
