Nadja Tanaka, Assistant Producer, Archivist
Nadja comes to Inlaws & Outlaws after spending twelve years working in the Los Angeles film industry. After graduating with a film & television degree from San Diego State University, she focused her visual skills mainly on cinematography. A member of Camera Guild 600, she worked on various television shows (Sweet Valley High, Silk Stalkings, Renegade, Perversions of Science) and feature films (Indictment: The McMartin Trial, Wishmaster, Falling Sky). After grounding her feet in cinematography & lighting, she undertook her first directing job for the HBO/Cinemax feature, Love Games.
Nadja's move from Southern California to Seattle has not dampened her passion for film to any degree. You can take the girl out of Hollywood, but you can never take the true love of cinema out of the girl. She lives with her fiancé, David, and their very furry daughter, a Yorkie-poo named Noe.
