The Wealthy Theatre will present a special screening of Inlaws & Outlaws on Friday, September 17th at 8 pm. The presentation is the latest in their Queeries Film Series, co-presented by Grand Valley State University LGBT Resource Center and funded by the Arcus Foundation.
Touring with the Michigan Outlaws Tour, filmmaker Drew Emery will be in attendance for a Q&A after the film.

As part of the 2010 Diversity Week, Pacific Lutheran University presents a special screening of Inlaws & Outlaws on Thursday, May 6th at 6 pm.
Diversity Week - and this special event - are co-sponsored by Associated Students of Pacific Lutheran University and The Diversity Center. This year's theme for Diversity Week is the Faces of PLU.
Filmmaker Drew Emery will be in attendance for a Q&A and discussion after the film.

PFLAG Greater Victoria sponsors a screening of Inlaws & Outlaws as part of Victoria, British Columbia's popular Monday Movies series on April 26th, at 6:30 pm.
Monday Movies are presented at the Eric Martin Pavilion in the Royal Jubilee Hospital. The screenings are free, with donations accepted to cover expenses. Plus, popcorn and pop are shockingly affordable!
Directions: The theatre entrance is at the corner of Fort St at Lee Ave. Use the south entrance, facing Fort St. Parking: During the show a good place to park is the 1 hour zone on Lee Ave (west of the theatre). That street is not ticketed on Movie Monday evenings.
About PFLAG Greater Victoria:
PFLAG Greater Victoria meets at St. John the Divine on the third Sunday of each month at 2 pm, September through June.
PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) provides support, education and resources on issues of sexual orientation and gender identity. They have been meeting in St. John's Lounge since March 1994. We are still deeply grateful for the warmth of your facility and its ability to enhance our main "work" which is to give support, particularly to those who have just learned that a loved one is gay. We listen attentively to all who wish to share their story. It is a simple act, but brings a rich reward as we become a “family”.
In our role as educators, our Speakers Bureau makes presentations to Grade 10 CAPP classes (Career and Personal Planning), at the request of the school. One of the Bureau co-ordinators who lives at Mill Bay has expanded that program as far as Nanaimo. Our library contains books and videos of interest to parents and to those who are anxiously anticipating “coming out” to their parents. You may see our brochures in your library or doctor's office.
As an advocate for equality, PFLAG is a member of BCCLA (BC Civil Liberties Association), EGALE (Equality for Gays and Lesbians Everywhere) and GALE BC (Gay and Lesbian Educators). Our goal is to help create a society that is respectful of human diversity.

The Gay Alliance for Tolerance & Equality (GATE) at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond will present a special screening of Inlaws & Outlaws as part of its Equality Week programming.
The screening will be presented in the Pegasus Theatre in the Liberal Arts Building (see map below) on Wednesday, April 14th at 7 pm. Admission is free and the general public is invited to join the UCO community for this event.

Inlaws & Outlaws in Oklahoma:
Inlaws & Outlaws had its Oklahoma Premiere at the deadCENTER Film Festival where it won the Grand Jury Award. Following this success, our Oklahoma Outlaws Posse has supported numerous screenings throughout the state, including a limited theatrical run during Oklahoma City Pride, where two of the film's subjects Jane Lighty and Pete-e Petersen were Grand Marshalls in the Pride Parade. In 2007, Oklahoma native and civic leader Bob Lemon became the film's Executive Producer.
About GATE:
The Gay Alliance for Tolerance & Equality (GATE) at the University of Oklahoma is a registered student organization that provides support for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender students, faculty, staff members, alumni, and allies at the University of Central Oklahoma, as well as for members of the surrounding communities. GATE sponsors educational programs and advocates tolerance and equality for all people, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. GATE promotes friendship and acceptance by sponsoring social events within a safe environment, and it serves as a liaison between the UCO campus and the wider community through its involvement in student government, campus committees, and off-campus activities and initiatives.
