Lake Street Church, Evanston, IL

On Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 12:00pm, Lake Street Church of Evanston, Illinois will host a special screening of Inlaws & Outlaws. The film, a collection of true stories about love and marriage, will be shown at 607 Lake Street in Evanston. A suggested donation of $6 may be paid at the door, and includes a light lunch. An opportunity for discussion will follow the film.

Lake Street member Jacki Belile organized the screening noting, "We all know that stories make a difference at the heart level, and that such a shift just doesn't happen when people are preached at. Inlaws and Outlaws reminds us that in the cause of justice - as necessary as the organizing and struggling is - we must be rooted in a living well of human hope."

The "Inside Outers" - the church's LGBT fellowship group - is sponsoring the film viewing. All are welcome.
