Equality Toledo at the Downtown Latte | Toledo OH
On Wednesday, January 23 2008, Inlaws & Outlaws comes to the Downtown Latte in Toledo, Ohio.
Brought to Toledo by Equality Toledo, the screening will begin at 6:00pm and is free to attend, however donations will be accepted. All are welcome!

Downtown Latte use their space to promote the work of local artisans and musicians. The concept of a coffee house has been paired with a passion for social justice as they insist upon serving exclusively fair trade coffee, ensuring that farmers are given a just and sustainable wage for their trade. Downtown Latté is the only Toledo café to have set that standard.

This is the second of two screenings presented by Equality Toledo & Equality Ohio. The first screening takes place on Tuesday, January 22 at the Gish Theater at Bowling Green State University. Click here for more information.

EqualityToledo works for equality for all Ohioans regardless of their marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, through education, anti-defamation efforts, and activism.
EqualityToledo began as a response to the passage of Ohio’s Issue 1 amendment in November 2004. The founding members were actively involved in opposing Issue 1 and educating our communities about the harmful consequences of its passage.

Media Decompression Collective is more than just a film festival or a spectator event. The purpose of the project is to bring people together to celebrate our similarities, and differences; to educate each other.
The influences the Media Decompression Collective in Toledo, Ohio goes back to the beginnings of media decompression from 1996, In San Francisco, California where spaz sound system was helping to create the Autonomous Mutant Festival. A seven day free festival, a semi permanent autonomous village. A festival loosely planned that naturally develops from the people attending/participating.

Equality Ohio envision an Ohio where everyone feels at home; living in families and communities where equality, diversity and inclusiveness are universally valued; and where government protects all people and responds to their needs, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity or expression.
Equality Ohio serve as an advocate and champion for fair treatment and equal opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender citizens through empowerment, facilitation and collaboration.
