About Fauntleroy UCC:

UCC Fauntleroy UCC has been around for over 100 years. Since the very beginning we have been a “community” church—build largely by our community and serving the needs of the people in our neighborhood. For over 80 years we’ve shared the same building with the YMCA of greater Seattle. We’ve had a strong ministry ¬†with children beginning with manual arts classes in our original building in 1908. In 1952 we started a preschool, called Little Pilgrim School that continues to this day. Since our current sanctuary, with its large glass front, we have literally performed thousands of weddings, mostly with couples outside of our congregation. In 1996, we became an open and affirming congregation. In 1997 we hosted our first commitment covenant for a gay couple.

This screening is made possible through the generous support of Robert D. Lemon of Oklahoma City. Bob Lemon is a long-time community activist, an ally in the fight for LGBT equality and the Executive Producer of this film. With Bob's support, we invite all UCC congregations to screen Inlaws & Outlaws for free. Contact us here to find out how your congregation can take advantage of this program.
