Federal Way Matters is an organization dedicated to local events promoting peace, justice, and the general well-being and longevity of this planet. From organizing film nights, to lobbying for changes in legislation, Federal Way Matters takes an active stance on progressive issues affected the local community and world at large

Federal Way Regional Library opened in December 1991 and is the larger of two libraries in the city of Federal Way. The 25,000 square foot building houses a collection of more than 180,000 items. Forty computers, most with internet access, are available for public use. The library serves residents of southern King County and northern Pierce County with a full range of library services including programs of interest to all ages, and classes in the use of the library and its computers.
