Plymouth United Church | Spring, TX

On Friday, October 27th, 2007 Inlaws & Outlaws comes to Spring, Texas for a screening at Plymouth United Church. Join Rev. Ginny Brown Daniel for the showing of the film...the first time in Spring! The screening will begin at 7:00pm and all are welcome to attend.

This screening will form part of Inlaws & Outlaws' Texas Outlaws Tour, which brings the movie all over the Lone Star State throughout October and November.

Rev. Daniel and the congregation of Plymouth UCC have made a commitment to equality for all. In June 2006, Plymouth UCC became an Open & Affirming Church.

Rev. Daniel's statement of inclusion reflects the beliefs and convictions of Open & Affirming churches and congregations throughout the country:

"If we take Jesus Christ as our model then the Church should be about embracing those whom society chooses not to embrace: the poor, the illegal immigrants, the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered community, the homeless, those with AIDS. These are all people who have little or no voice or power in society. We are called not to change or belittle them but to love them (and us). Christ’s ministry was about welcoming all, affirming all, and empowering all to serve others in God’s love, and THAT’S what we, the Church, should emulate - affirmation, empowerment and love for ALL!"
