  • Wyoming Artists Use Inlaws & Outlaws to Support Equality

    CANVAS presents a community screening of the award-winning marriage documentary Inlaws & Outlaws on Thursday, August 4, at 7 pm. The screening will be presented at The Paramount in Cheyenne, Wyoming as part of the opening reception of the Imagine Love Art Show.

    The Imagine Love Art Show will showcase Artists & Art promoting Peace, Love and Equality hosted by CANVAS. All participating Artists agreed to donate a portion of their sales to Wyoming Equality. Little Lark Cheyenne will delight us with delicious baked goods. The Second Floor at The Paramount is hosting the exhibit August 4th through the 11th.

  • Success! We're on Public TV!

    You came through!

    We set a fundraising goal of raising $50,000 to bring Inlaws & Outlaws to public television — and thanks to you, WE MADE IT! As of today, we've met our initial goal with $50,246 raised — and, YES, Inlaws & Outlaws is now available to 350+ PBS and public television affiliates around the US!

    So far we've just learned that 15 affiliates have already scheduled broadcasts of Inlaws & Outlaws — including KCTS 9 here in Seattle and KYVE in Yakima, Washington. Both stations are airing Inlaws & Outlaws and our new short Just Marriage this Friday, October 26th at 9 pm.

  • Inlaws & Outlaws Steps Up to Support R-74

    Ref 74 In just two months, voters in Washington will be voting on Referendum 74. Voting Yes on R-74 will affirm the marriage equality law passed by the legislature and signed by Governor Gregoire back in February. After nearly a decade of effort, Washington will become the seventh state where same-sex marriage is legal — and could be the first decided by voters.
