Pilgrim Congregational Church is an open and affirming and actively inclusive community of faith, welcoming all men, women and children and grateful for the wholeness of the human community that we experience in the diversity of race, family composition, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical or mental challenge.

Members of the Pilgrim Congregational Church are active in many and varied ways throughout the community to further God’s plan for wholeness and justice for the world.

Such activities range from voter registration activities, collections for the local Food Pantry, cooking, serving and staffing an overnight shelter for homeless people each month, serving as short term foster parents, and many other forms of healing and service in response to God’s call.

The showing of Inlaws & Outlaws continues the ethos of the Church, through its promotion of diversity and inclusive attitude to all members of the community.

Pilgrim Congregation Church is a member of the United Church of Christ (UCC). The UCC are a mostly progressive denomination that unabashedly engage hearts and minds. There are nearly 6000 congregations, all balanced with a strong commitment to unity. The UCC is one of the most diverse Christian churches in the United States.
