Inlaws and Outlaws

Radical Women, Melbourne, AUS

In Australia, Melbourne Radical Women hosts a festive film screening, dinner and social on Saturday, August 30 at 6:30 pm in Brunswick.

The event is aimed at educating the public on the importance of same-sex relationship equality -- but also serves to assist Melbourne Radical Women with vital fundraising. Their “Send Feminists Flying” fundraising campaign will help members and other activists to attend Radical Women’s 41st Anniversary Conference in San Francisco, October 3 - 6. With The Persistent Power of Socialist Feminism as its theme, the international gathering will exchange ideas and strategies for winning in a better world.

A scrumptious hearty winter dinner will be served at 6:30 pm for a $10 donation. The film donation is $5 and screens at 7:30 pm at Solidarity Salon, 580 Sydney Road, Brunswick. Catch an Upfield line train or a Sydney Road tram. Plenty of free parking is available at the rear.
